Our Pharmacist Team
Craig Baron
Craig, owner and chief manager of both Baron’s Pharmacy locations, graduated from North Dakota State University in 1994 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Prior to opening Baron’s Pharmacy in 2002, he was employed at Pamida Pharmacy in Hibbing as Pharmacist in Charge. Craig has completed training and certification in Osteoporosis Screening, Comprehensive Pharmaceutical Care, Pharmaceutical Care for Patients with Dyslipidemias, Comprehensive Medication Therapy Management, and Diabetes Care.
Lynn Hagen
Lynn has been a pharmacist for 36 years and a staff pharmacist at Baron’s Pharmacy (HFMC location) since January of 2003. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Pharmacy in 1974. Hagen was given recognition as a featured pharmacist on the cover of a national pharmaceutical magazine, “Community Pharmacist,” in May of 1998 after working on an Osteoporosis Screening program. She has successfully completed a NIPCO-accredited Diabetes Care post graduate training program sponsored by MPhA. Currently, Lynn’s primary focus at Baron’s Pharmacy is providing MTM care.
Erin Cary
Erin has been a pharmacist at Baron’s Pharmacy (HFMC location) since 2006. She is a 2006 graduate of North Dakota State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. Since graduating, Erin has become certified in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and is providing MTM care for many eligible individuals through St. Louis County, Outcomes, and Mirixa MTM programs.
Amy Gleason
Amy has been a pharmacist for Baron’s Pharmacy since 2010. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 1996. Previously, she served as a staff pharmacist for Walmart and a pharmacy manager for Kmart. Amy is a licensed preceptor for the Minnesota board of pharmacy.
Tim Klaphake
Tim, a staff pharmacist and Pharmacist in Charge at Baron's Pharmacy (Mesaba location), has been practicing pharmacy for over 23 years. He has a B.S. of Pharmacy from North Dakota Sate University. Previously, Tim was employed as a pharmacy manager at Kmart and Walmart in Hibbing.
David Zanardi
Dave is a staff pharmacist at Baron's Pharmacy (HFMC and Mesaba locations). He has a BS of Pharmacy from North Dakota State University, and has been practicing pharmacy for over 40 years. Dave was employed as a staff pharmacist at Kmart and Walmart in Hibbing, and previously owned Nordby Drug in Grand Rapids.
